DOST offers scholarships to grad students from Cambodia, Lao PDR and Myanmar

ASEAN HELPING ASEAN. DOST and University Officials welcome new and ongoing DOST scholars from Cambodia, Lao PDR and Myanmar at a get-together event held on 22 January 2020 at the DOST Compound in Taguig City.
The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) extends its scholarship program to the Southeast Asian community through the “DOST Scholarship Offerings for ASEAN Researchers at Cambodia – Lao PDR – Myanmar (CLM)”.
396 third year students pass the DOST-SEI JLSS Exam

A total of 396 qualifiers who are enrolled in various science and technology degree programs are set to enjoy the benefits of the 2019 Junior Level Science Scholarships (JLSS) starting the First Semester of AY 2019-2020.
Hundreds of ongoing third year college students will be recipients of the premier science scholarship as the Department of Science and Technology - Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) announces the passers of the JLSS Examination administered nationwide on 02 June 2019.
Qualifiers to the program will receive tuition subsidy, monthly stipend, book allowance, among others for two to three years under the scholarship.
The JLSS is a scholarship program under the Republic Act (R.A.) No. 2067 or the Merit Scholarship, R.A. No. 7687 or the “S&T Scholarship Act of 1994,” and the R.A. No. 10612 or the “Fast-Tracked S&T Scholarship Act of 2013.”
