S&T Scholarship Division (STSD)

Position Title: Science Research Specialist I
Item No.: SEIB-SRAS1-2-2016
Salary Grade: SG 13
Annual Salary: Php 357, 576.00
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists in the conduct of technical activities pertaining to implementation, evaluation and monitoring of the Division's programs/projects and does related work;
• Assists in organizing, collating and interpretation of data for effective implementation of projects of the division;
• Assists in conceptualizing and formulating projects relative to Institute's programs and projects;
• Prepares initial periodic reports and other pertinent documents related to project implementation for monitoring and evaluation purposes;
• Coordinates with partners, stakeholders, clients, among other in the implementation of the projects of the division;
• Maintains and updates records/files of circulars, memoranda, orders, rules and regulations and other documents for reference;
• Coordinates and provides staff support to the Committees' different activities to achieve set targets; and
• Performs such other duties as may be assigned from time to time for the efficient and effective delivery of service of the Institute.

Annual Salary: Php 457,800.00
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conceptualizes projects related to the programs of the Unit to capacitate science and mathematics teachers;
• Implements capacity-building programs in science education in accordance with the established standards like ISO, etc.;
• Prepares reports, letters, presentations, memo and other documents related to project implementation;
• Participates in establishing and maintaining linkages with relevant sectors/ stakeholders to ensure collaborative undertaking through the Institute's local an international network; and
• Performs such other duties as may be assigned from time to time for the efficient and effective delivery of service of the Institute.

Qualification Standards:

• Education: Bachelor's degree relevant to the job
• Training: Four (4) hours of relevant training
• Experience: One (1) year of relevant experience
• Eligibility: Career Service Professional/ Second Level Eligibility
