S&T SCHOLARSHIP DIVISION (STSD)

Position Title: Science Research Specialist II

Salary Grade: SG 16
Annual Salary: Php 476,064.00
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organizes, collates and interprets data from program/project implementation;
- Undertakes the project monitoring activities of the division and prepares periodic reports of the projects;
- Undertakes data gathering activities for the programs and projects of the Institute;
- Prepares initial draft of reports related to project implementation;
- Takes charge of fiscal matters related to the division's programs/projects; and
- Performs such other duties as may be assigned from time to time for the efficient and effective delivery of service of the Institute.
Qualification Standards
- Education: Bachelor's degree relevant to the job
- Training: Four (4) hours of relevant training
- Experience: One (1) year of relevant experience

Position Title: Senior Science Research Specialist

Salary Grade: SG 19
Annual Salary: Php 616,284.00
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepares project proposals consisting of background and rationale, research method, data, analysis, budget allocation and time frame, to ensure well-planned research activities;
- Assigns research activity tasks to research staff and supervises them for a successful implementation of the research projects;
- Validates gathered data through validation techniques such as cross checking, consistency checking, etc. to ensure data quality;
- Processes and analyzes data using statistical tools such as SPSS & NVivo to organize and summarize data in a meaningful output through tables, figures and narratives;
- Prepares research reports and publications and disseminates results through forum, conferences, and scientific journals to provide empirical data as basis for policy-making decisions pertaining to Science and Technology Human Resource Development; and
- Performs such other duties as may be assigned from time to time for the efficient and effective delivery of service of the Institute.
Qualification Standards

- Experience: Two (2) years of relevant experience
