DOST-SEI hails qualifiers to the 2022 Undergrad S&T Scholarships

A total of 10,487 students are set to enter college in academic year 2022-2023 as new science scholars as the Department of Science and Technology - Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) releases the official list of names of the scholarship qualifiers.
For two consecutive years, DOST-SEI did not conduct the national scholarship qualifying examination due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To identify the qualifiers, the Institute employed data analytics and proxy indicators in place of the exam. Documentary requirements were collected through the E-Scholarship Application System including the students’ grades in Grades 9-11.
DOST-SEI opens online application for 2022 JLSS

With the aim to continue to develop the human resource capital for science and technology, the Department of Science and Technology – Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) announces the opening of the online application period for the 2022 Junior Level Science Scholarships (JLSS) program. Applications will be accepted until July 31, 2022, via the JLSS E-Scholarship Application System at click here.
Pitogo HS secures TagRobo four-peat win

Pitogo High School picked up where it left off as it secures the championship title in the Tagisang Robotics: Design. Build. Play as the competition returns this 2022 using a hybrid format.
After winning The Best Team Award in 2019, the Best Rookie Team and Best Team in 2013, and again as Best Team in 2014, Pitogo High School once more showed that they are still the team-to-beat in the returning robotics competition held last May 27.
Veterans prove stronghold in 2022 NOI.PH Finals

Familiar names dominated yet again in the 2022 National Olympiad in Informatics – Philippines (NOI.PH).
After nabbing bronze in the 33rd International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) held last year in Singapore, Raphael Dylan T. Dalida of the Philippine Science High School – Main Campus looks to get another chance for the gold as he topped the national event, besting 29 finalists in the online NOI.PH last April 23-24.
